How your quote is calculated
We calculate your quote by calculating the time taken:
- to load our wagon
- to travel to your new home
- to unload the wagon
- to pack your possessions( if required)
Costs will be added for:
- fuel
- packaging materials.
If you require multiple pick ups from different addresses or drop offs to different addresses then these must be specified.
It is very important that you specify exactly the items that are to be moved as the contract is based on these items only.
A deposit will be required when two customers require the same removal day or if the job is very large.
Additional charges
Additional fees will be payable on the day of moving for:
Waiting time - any waiting to unload the van in excess of one hour will be charged on our waiting time rate of £30.
Additional items - that are not specified on the list.
Thing to note
We will on request disconnect washing mashines but take no responsibility for any damage caused to the the house or appliance.
We will not reconnect a washing machine.
We do not go into attics via loft hatches as it is deemed unsafe with health and safety.
